Lanko was founded in 1934 and after almost 90 years has developed into a modern company with customers all over the world. In the beginning, the activities were in the production of chemical cleaning agents, which were used to clean shop awnings.
It quickly became apparent that these products were also very suitable for cleaning press felts and dryer fabrics in paper machines. Due to the high demand in the paper industry, attention quickly turned to the paper industry, especially felt wax applications. The first products were manufactured in Ugchelen, a small town near Apeldoorn.
The History of Lanko International

1934
Lanko, founded by Mr Landman and Kosters in Amsterdam, has its origins as a company for cleaning windows, awnings and blinds. Already in 1934 there were strong points of contact with the paper industry.

1972
Due to the steadily growing turnover, the production facilities in Ugchelen became too small. A new location was found in Lanaken and the construction of a modern laboratory and sales office began.

1975
Construction of the factory in Maastricht, which will last until 2019.

2012
The paper industry and also Lanko develops strongly and starts to build up the customer base all over Europe. Don Deckers takes over the company.

2022
In order not to stand in the way of growth, a larger business building and sufficient surrounding land was found in the province of Central Limburg in the Netherlands, which met all the requirements. The business building for Lanko International in Roermond was renovated and furnished according to the requirements of our time. In addition to the offices and the production hall, premises were built for Lanko Service. Lanko Service and Lanko International now coexist together at one location, resulting in optimal cooperation.
